Greetings to my faithful reader (and those who visit her friends page). Even though my participation in the online journal world isn't wholly voluntary, I do intend to maintain some respectable frequency of postings. Due to a whole suite of circumstances (mostly of the life-sucking 70-hour workweek variety), I have not. So, let's start anew!
Right... come up with thoughts... this is the part I know will suck...
I seem to be preoccupied with my hacking cough at the moment. It reminds me of the perpetual one that my brother had while at the Academy. I guess it comes with too much work and no real quality sleep. It's also left me feeling dehydrated all the time. My plan is to sleep in tomorrow, get back to a 45-hour week (huzzah!) and suck on plenty of cough drops.
Oh yeah, and plan out my class schedule for OPNETWORK 2005. That's the week-long conference that our company puts on for all our users in the Ronald Reagan Center in downtown DC. Due to the aforementioned massive work schedule, I am completely free of all obligations, which means I can take whatever classes I want. I think I'll focus on Mobile Ad-hoc Networking and server modeling. Much more exciting than all the wireless Layer 2 junk I've been dealing with for the past year. (Dear random reader: I am a nerd, with full credentials).
Did I mention that this conference also means three very high quality free meals each and every day? Plus an open bar at night! And I can bring a guest! That, my loyal reader, is something to be excited about.

You are a nerd. I somehow missed the whole, "Mobile Ad-hoc networking and server modeling" bit.
It's hot here. I'm tired. Drained, more like it.
